Diesel gas was sold at the lowest price of $3.44 per gallon at one gas station in Sublette County during the week ending Jan. 3, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Countywide, diesel gas averaged $3.59 per gallon.
Of the 11 reported gas stations located within Sublette County, six offered diesel gas.
The statewide average price of diesel gas in Wyoming was $3.24 per gallon for the week ending Jan. 3, a decrease from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
