There were three gas stations in cities across Sublette County selling regular gas at the lowest price of $2.74 per gallon in the week ending Jan. 3, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.

Reported prices for regular gas in Sublette County averaged $2.75 per gallon.

Of the 11 reported gas stations located within Sublette County, four offered regular gas.

Across Wyoming, the average reported price for a gallon of regular gas rose to $2.48, compared to the week before.

U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
