Boulder Police are looking for witnesses to this morning’s serious crash between a car and a pedestrian that occurred on Canyon Boulevard.
At approximately 6:37 a.m., a white 2017 Nissan Sentra driving east in the 900 block of Canyon Boulevard collided with a pedestrian in the crosswalk near the northeast corner of the Boulder Public Library. The pedestrian—a 61-year-old female—suffered serious injuries and was transported to the Boulder Community Hospital by ambulance. She is currently in critical condition.
The driver—a 31-year-old male—remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation. No intoxication of the driver is suspected.
