South Park ranked seventh in state for resident earnings in 2017

South Park ranked seventh among cities in Wyoming by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau in August.

The median income of South Park residents was an inflation-adjusted $53,395 per year. South Park had 659 households in 2017, with a population of 1,579.

The city with the highest median resident income in the state was Arrowhead Springs. Arrowhead Springs's median income was $82,738 per year after adjusting for inflation – $29,343 more than South Park. It had 50 households in 2017 and a population of 97.

Veteran had the lowest annual resident income among cities in Wyoming, with a median income of only $2,499 per year. That was $50,896 less than the median income in South Park at the time. Veteran had 15 households in 2017 and a population of 71.
