PUBLIC NOTICE-To Amend the Manufactured Mobile Home Overlay District Code of Ordinances

Notice is hereby given that the ordinance herein captioned will be read for the first time at a regular meeting of the Mayor and Board of Commissioners of the City of Douglas, Georgia, on Monday, July 25, 2022, at 6:00 PM at the CE Weir Center, located at 307 E. Bryan Street, Douglas, Georgia.

“AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY OF DOUGLAS CODE OF ORDINANCE, CHAPTER 111, UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE, ARTICLE IV – SPECIAL DISTRICTS – SECTION 111-107(b)(2)(b)(1) AND ARTICLE VII – SUPPLEMENTAL STANDARDS, SECTION 111-268(o)(3) – MANUFACTURED HOME PARK; TO REPEAL ALL OTHER ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND TO PROVIDE FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.”

This ordinance will be read for the second time followed by a public hearing on Monday, August 8, 2022, at 6 PM at the CE Weir Center, located at 307 E. Bryan Street, Douglas, Georgia.  After the public hearing, the ordinance will be voted upon at the regular meeting of the Mayor and Board of Commissioners of the City of Douglas, Georgia.  Anyone interested in said ordinance should be in appearance at the said meeting on the above-stated dates.
