Bedford recently issued the following announcement.

If you missed the public meetings to submit your input for the Parks and Trails Master Plan update process, head to the library! Just a reminder, the updated Parks and Trails Master Plan will serve as a guiding document for decisions regarding future park amenities and trail sections.

The public input boards that were used in the public meetings are now displayed inside the library doors, across from the information desk. Bedford residents are welcome to stop by anytime the library is open to provide their thoughts through Sunday, May 1. The Library’s hours are the following:

  • Monday, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Tuesday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Wednesday, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Thursday, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, 1 – 5 p.m.

The Boards ask residents what existing amenities they use the most now in our parks, what future amenities they’d like to vote for from a list, and what amenities they’d like to add to Bedford parks and trails in the future (not on the list).

If you’d like to view the recording of the previous public input meetings, please visit www.bedfordtx.gov/tv. For more information, please visit www.bedfordtx.gov/masterplan.
