There was one gas station in cities across Teton County selling diesel gas at the lowest price of $3.73 per gallon in the week ending Jan. 3, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.

Reported prices for diesel gas in Teton County averaged $3.77 per gallon.

Of the 21 reported gas stations located within Teton County, three offered diesel gas.

Statewide, diesel gas averaged $3.24 per gallon for the week ending Jan. 3, down from the previous week.

U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
