Spring cleaning is in full swing with the return of Chunk Your Junk – Bulk Waste Collection beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 15 at the Meadow Park Athletic Complex, 3200 Meadow Park Dr. Bedford residents can dispose of unwanted items from homes, garages, and yards, including broken furniture and other items that do not fit in a residential trash container. 

Here’s what to know if you plan on participating:

  • Bedford residents should bring proof of residency (such as a water bill or driver’s license) to dispose of items. 
  • Electronic waste WILL be accepted (courtesy of DFW Reclaimers), including old computers, printers, laptops, batteries, etc. 
  • NO household hazardous waste or old/used tires will be accepted. 
  • No contractors or construction debris will be accepted, unless it’s residential household construction.
